How does SimpleDeploy save me time in deploying my website or web app?
Cygen SimpleDeploy is built to make web deployment simple and fast. After selecting certain files types and limiting them by date, SimpleDeploy will go through your local web folder structure looking for only the files types you've selected. Once SimpleDeploy is finished searching for your file selections, it displays them in a hiercharchy very similar to that of a common folder/file structure. This is also the structure that will be deployed to your web server. Don't ever worry about forgetting to upload a file because it is buried five sub folders deep or you forgot that a particular file was actually modified. SimpleDeploy will display only files that need to be uploaded. Additionally, you have the option to deselect certain files.

Do I need to install the .NET Framework before using SimpleDeploy?
Yes - SimpleDeploy is based on the Microsoft Framework version 2.0. You can download it here. The previous link will also list system requirements for installing the .NET Framework.

Do I need Visual Studio or have to use an ASP.NET based website?
No - SimpleDeploy is a stand alone application. Your website can be based on any language including PHP, ASP, Cold Fusion, Perl, and more. By adding file extension filters, there's no limit to the types of files you can upload.

If a remote folder doesn't exist, will SimpleDeploy create it?
Yes - If a remote folder doesn't exist, it will automatically be created. Any sub folders are created as well.

Are files automatically overwritten or am I prompted?
Yes - All uploaded files are overwritten regardless of their last modified date.

Which operating systems does SimpleDeploy run on?
SimpleDeploy is supported on WindowsXP and Vista.
